Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Thea was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and seeks redemption

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She has a hunchback. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover her moderate length black hair. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she dresses well, wearing tan shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shanairla embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Detective again; and wants to open a new tavern
