History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his writing dream.
