History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Jo's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jo does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
