Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born into a rich family. Hugh was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hugh decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
