History: Flak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Armorer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
