Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Baern was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age her mother died while driving off some illithids. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in glaive use. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She takes great joy in being the best Masseuse in town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Masseuse work with an outfit from a few towns over. Masseuse work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
