History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Torinn began to lead the lost caravan. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Torinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Orryn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.
