The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Olunt took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born into a rich family. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sorath grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sorath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
