Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Vani and her spouse have recently divorced.
