History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.
