History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
