Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Verin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Verin. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Spy mother left him crippled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vlorn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he seems to be bored by most things
