History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by her family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and regain custody of his daughter
