History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Heather was taken on many hunting expeditions. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pearl embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she is renowned for her bright grey dresses and hats. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
