History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Assassin, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zepar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Juliana enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Juliana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Kildrak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.
