His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Veit's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Veit was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
