History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Shepherd, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vonana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
