History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Sapply hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sapply fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Heather was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
