Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jak. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Valafar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
