Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Purah enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Purah and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to raise her children well

Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
