History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Farideh was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. After a long history of fighting, Farideh and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student she started as a Servant, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She became a Ruler soon after.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
