History: She was born in a small island village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Mara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Mara was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Cagak will drive conversation. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cagak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Oriax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered brigands who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and to end her boredom
