History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Masseuse father left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
