Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it, marred by beers. Her brown hair is singed and shortened. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
