History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Valafar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
