History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a yellow vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars. He has moderate length chestnut hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Berrian was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Berrian decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her silver crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Mishann was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mishann's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely brown suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Detective business.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is greedy
