History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She got into the Performer business at a young age. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
