History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Akmen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Althaea was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Althaea abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
