History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Balam's homeland. Balam decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Edge was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His lavender fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now mingles about in high society.
