Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Dain enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Spy father left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Servant. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, William will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. William grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did William. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His red crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a great chef.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears suspenders and pastel workpants. Her shirt is red, and she wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her gray fur is long and unkept. Her green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sweet was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and an old rival family wants her found
