She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Smoking is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the north to a Bowyer, Smoking learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has achieved small success as a Bowyer.
