Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Shane is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by giants. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Elysande reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
