Personality: Emma is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student she started as a Weaver, but she got bored and became a Glassblower. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a blue tunic with black highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around her shoes, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Blacksmith. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adrik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He carries with him a set of rapiers on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his son
