Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Loopmottin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.
