When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Herbalist, and she later adopted a second daughter.
