Personality: River wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his lance, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Norûk does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Norûk hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Norûk was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lia. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Vaina was born with her mother's beautiful face. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To unite with her sister.
