History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, River has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Oriel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She became a Servant soon after.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Nedda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Merihim hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it and is in decent physical shape. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Courier but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
