History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Guard for the past few years.

Personality: Rolen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career.
