Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. Her yellow fur has been sun bleached extensively. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her broad brown hat.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: 5'10" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His purple hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His gold eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Arannis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She carries with her a set of shields on her belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. Her white hair, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: He wears dull blue sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed dagger, just in case. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well
