Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugolina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'7" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. Her red hair has been sun bleached extensively. This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thiala grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and he perpetually has his mace ready. His white crest is unkempt and raggedy. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Direcris enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Direcris was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a falchion and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
