Volen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barendd grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Adran's homeland. Adran decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
