Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Gifted from a young age, Conrad studied abroad. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is her passion

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears silk and lounges about seductively. Her auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are violet.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Faral isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Faral was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
