History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Boddynock alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.
