Description: An older man who is wearing a long, brown cloak, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. A true patriot, Barendd would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Barendd was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Masseuse. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering her clean studded leather. She has shaved her head bald. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Painter, but she was a colossal failure. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.
Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has no hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Giselle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Giselle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses like a well dressed Marshal does. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. He is baby faced.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Oblar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Oblar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he loathes his own lifestyle
