Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Balam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
