History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ghesh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Verna was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
