Description: This malnourished woman likes to wear yellow tank tops with grey skirt. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Joan is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Joan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Bilbron abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Theren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
