History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roondar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spy arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Akta never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she seems to be bored by most things
