History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: This northern woman is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To be a Jeweler again; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man is very fat, and prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His blonde hair is cut short. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: Standing 6'5", this woman is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She sports red long hair. She has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Volen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
