Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a Scribe, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Himo and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult.
